All-In Pricing Bill for Tickets Introduced in Texas

On February 25, 2025 Senator Judith Zaffrini (D-Laredo) introduced SB 1622. This bill is aimed to bring the practice of “all in” pricing on tickets to Texas. This proposed law would be a huge step forward in Texas to create an even playing field where every ticket site (including Ticketmaster) would have to display the full price of the tickets (including fees) upfront. The TTSA supports this legislation and will be active in trying to move it forward to law. Senator Zaffrini was active in the ticket space in the last session (2023) where her bill on “bots” passed and outlawed the use of “bots” to purchase tickets in Texas.
